This is an understandable concern. Why should native British taxpayers be subsidising EU nationals in the UK?
Well the answer is simple, they're not. In fact, it's the other way around. Immigration is subsidising the British taxpayer!
Analysis by the Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration at University College London has shown that EU migrants pay in nearly two billion pounds more in tax than they use in resources (health care, school, etc).
That's pure profit!
That's the equivalent of 5½ new, fully staffed NHS hospitals every year.
Without immigration, British nationals would have to pay higher taxes to cover the shortfall.
